Your Online Resource for Creating and Living Your Optimal Life

Take a whole-brain approach: Imagine your ideal life and create a clear picture of your vision in your mind. Then create a logical, well thought-out action plan. And . . . ACT!

  • Make the decision to make the most of yourself.  Everyone who has achieved success has created a definition of success for themselves and has been determined to achieve this success. Success has been defined as "the progressive realization of a worthwhile goal".  What does success mean to you?  What goals are you striving to reach?  Whatever it is you want to move toward, you have to make this your priority and you have to be determined to attain it.

“One pointed intention means holding your attention to the intended outcome with such unbending purpose that you absolutely refuse to allow obstacles to consume and dissipate the focused quality of your attention.”

-- Deepak Chopra

"The Science of Getting Rich"

In this success classic written in 1910 by Wallace D. Wattles, the author explains that the very best thing that you can do for the world is to make the most of yourself.  And you can only make the most of yourself when you have the money to buy material things, whether it’s plane tickets, books, clothes that allow you to express who you are, and so on.  Therefore, the pursuit of riches is a noble pursuit, and everyone should have getting rich as one of their goals in life.

  • Put Yourself in Harmony.  You have to start with yourself.  Wealth and success are things that you attract by who you are; that is, by the quality of your thoughts, your feelings, and your intentions.  Life flows from Being into Doing into Having.  Two ways to put yourself in harmony are through any activity that you perform mindfully--it can be meditation, taking a yoga class, going for a walk, or anything else that you do while being fully in the present--and through gratitude.
  • Know what you want.  In order to get what you want out of life you have to know what you want and create a clear and specific mental picture of it in your mind.

Once you have a clear picture of what you want you can create a visual representation of it to help keep you focused on your target(s).  One way to do this is to create a vision board by collecting images that represent those things that you want to attract into your life.  You can also take it a step further and create a "mindmovie" like the one in the video below.

  • Use meditation and creative visualization to bring wealth and success into your life.  Once you've decided what you want, you can use the technique of creative visualization to create what you want in your life.  In addition, research has shown that visualization is more effective at the Alpha state, the brain frequency you enter when you're meditating.

The Silva Life System

The Silva Life System is a great way to learn how to meditate and how to use creative visualization to design the life of your choice.  This system will teach you how to enter the Alpha level, at will, within 60 seconds flat.

  • Release negative beliefs about money and about your worthiness to receive money.  If you set a goal to become wealthy while holding the belief that you don’t deserve wealth, or that you’re not smart enough to be wealthy, or that creating wealth requires making enormous sacrifices, you simply won’t allow yourself to be rich. You have to release any negative feelings or beliefs you have about money, or about your worthiness to attract money.

Two excellent methods to release or clear out old beliefs that have been controlling you, leaving you free to deliberately create your circumstances, are The Sedona Method and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT).

Joe Vitale and Brad Yates have a great program called "Money Beyond Belief!" which is centered around EFT and is focused on tapping to release negative beliefs about money.

  • Develop the proper mindset.  People who become wealthy think like rich people; they develop a "wealth mindset" even before their bank statement reflects the wealth that they have envisioned for themselves.

Hypnosis is a great way to instill in yourself the proper mindset to allow wealth to flow into your life.  Wendi Friesen is a remarkable hypnotherapist, and her programs have helped thousands of people resolve issues in all areas of life.  One of her programs, Attain Financial Abundance with Hypnosis, is for those who would like to resolve their money issues through hypnosis.

Another way to develop the proper mindset is through the use of affirmations.  In the words of Anthony Robbins: "By repeating an affirmation over and over again, it becomes embedded in the subconscious mind, and eventually becomes your reality. That is why you need to be careful what you think and believe, because that is exactly what you will get!"

The 19th century French professor and Master Hypnotist, Emile Coué, became a pioneer of affirmation techniques, curing hundreds of patients in Europe and North America by teaching his patients to repeat the following simple affirmation each morning and evening: "Every day, in every way, I'm getting better and better."

There are several excellent programs that allow affirmations to flash on and off on your computer screen unobtrusively, helping to program these affirmations into your subconscious.  One of the best is the Affirmations Software - Sculptor 3.

  • Take action.  You must act now, and act efficiently.  As stated above, creating a clear mental picture of what you want and adopting empowering beliefs and the right mindset are vital in getting what you want.  However, all of the visualizing and positive thinking in the world will not get you what you want if you fail to act.

When you act, you must act efficiently.  Efficient action is that which moves you toward your goals, while inefficient action moves you away from what you desire.

In addition, an important element in acting is to create value for others.  The more people you create value for, the more successful you will be.  Ask yourself: what problem can I solve?

"The purpose of our lives is to add value to the people of this generation and those that follow."

Buckminster Fuller

The following elements are of vital importance when it's time to take action:

Goal Setting: "The Greatest waste in the world is the difference between what we are and what we could become." -- Ben Herbster
Create a blueprint or action plan.

Create a schedule that allows you to connect to your big picture goals and spend your time doing what's important to you. "The bad news is time flies. The good news is you're the pilot." -- Michael Althsuler

Get Organized: "Organizing is the process by which we create environments that enable us to live, work, and relax exactly as we want to.  When we are organized, our homes, offices, and schedules reflect and encourage who we are, what we want, and where we are going."           -- Organizing from the Inside Out by Julie Morgenstern

  • Learn about money, taking care of money, and making it grow.  The fact is that if you want to create financial security and freedom, you'll have to learn how to take care of money.

You take care of anything that's important to you.  If you're health conscious, you learn about proper nutrition and you regularly visit the gym or exercise outdoors.  If you care about money you have to learn how to care for it properly, make it grow, and keep it safe.

  • Give.  It is a well-known spiritual tradition that you must give in order to receive.  Therefore, if you want more money to come into your life, give money away.  There are two basic ways in which to do this: the first is through tithing, and the second is through seed money.

Tithing is donating ten percent of all the money you receive.  Seed Money, on the other hand, is donating money with the expectation that you will get back ten times the amount that you donated in return.  It's the "Law of Tenfold Return" in action.

"The Classic Seed Money In Action"

This book will show you how to multiply your money by giving it away.  The formula in the book was used by:

  • John D. Rockefeller
  • Andrew Carnegie
  • Aristotle Onassis

These men started out in life being dirt poor but went on to create empires.
